In this unique hands-on class attendees will participate in a 2-course interactive cooking experience creating a raw deconstructed lasagna and a bountiful kale salad. Attendees will learn how easy it is to create beautiful "food art" with mindful plating practices. Participants will use techniques in creating healthy, tasty, beautiful food with produce from local Phoenix farmers, such as The Farm at South Mountain, Blue Sky Organic Farms, and McClendon Select. All recipes are plant-based, gluten free, and dairy-free. Class will be led by Intuitive Cooking Expert, Melanie Albert, a local Phoenix award-winning cookbook author, speaker and founder of Experience Nutrition Group. Melanie's work is regularly featured on "The List" a national TV lifestyle show. She also writes articles and recipes in "Natural Awakenings" Magazine, Phoenix and Northern Arizona issues.
